Year In Review: 2003

Looking for great records in 2003 was like looking for weapons of mass destruction: people kept saying they were out there, but the leads never checked out. The big stories were all reruns: 50 Cent was the Rags-To-Riches Rapper; Death Cab For Cutie, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the White Stripes (again) were the Alt-Rock Critics' Faves; Michael Jackson (again) was the Pop Star In Trouble.
